The Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City is pleased to announce an exclusive, FREE educational webinar designed to help MISSOURI hotel owners, operators, and asset managers significantly cut operating expenses, modernize facilities, and creatively fund brand-mandated Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).

This session provides a comprehensive breakdown of the Missouri Show Me PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) program—a powerful financial tool that offers 100% upfront, long-term, fixed-rate financing for energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy installations

In today’s tight commercial lending market, traditional financing for heavy infrastructure overhauls can be difficult to secure or overly restrictive. Show Me PACE solves this capital stack challenge by structuring repayments as a voluntary property tax assessment over a term as long as 20 years. Because the financing stays with the property, it preserves working capital and enhances Net Operating Income (NOI).

Attendees will walk away with an actionable understanding of how to integrate PACE into upcoming PIP cycles, what specific building components qualify (from HVAC systems to roofing and automated controls), and real-world success metrics from Missouri-based hospitality properties that have already utilized this program to improve their operational efficiency and guest experience.

What we will cover:

· How C-PACE Works: Learn why this private capital structure requires no monthly debt service, appearing instead as an annual or semi-annual assessment on your property tax bill.

· What Qualifies in Hotels: Discover why PACE is ideal for hospitality—covering central HVAC plants, chillers, automated energy management systems, LED lighting, roof retrofits, windows, and building envelopes.

· Missouri Case Highlights: See exact case examples from regional hospitality properties, like the Missouri Fairfield Inn & Suites, which successfully used PACE to finance over $1.7M in property improvements.

· Financial Advantages: See how PACE preserves your cash flow, doesn't accelerate upon default, transfers naturally to a new owner upon sale, and immediately boosts Net Operating Income (NOI).
